"Coma" TV Pilot to air on March 1st, 2012?

That's what IMDB is saying! On the IMDB page for Coma, under episode list, there are 5 episodes listed including one Pilot episode that has an air date of March 1st! The show is set to premiere on the A&E Network on May 28th, 2012....two episodes will air that night that are each an hour long. The following night on May 29th, the final two episodes will air which are also each an hour long.

Perhaps the pilot episode will be shown as well before then? I'm not sure why the pilot would air 2 months before the actual show, but if it means another episode with Joe, then I'm happy! If anything changes I'll be sure to let everyone know.

A few actors names are also showing their character names and how many episodes they are in. There hasn't been a character name or episode number given to Joe yet, but hopefully soon they will update it and we will know who Joe is playing and how many episodes he appears in. I can't wait!

This is the first year that Love Joe Mazzello has been up, but it's been a wonderful 4 months and I can't wait to continue sharing the Joe love in 2012! It should be a great year...so far, Joe has 4 projects set to be released in 2012...First Kiss, Allison, GI Joe Retaliation and the TV series Coma. I can't wait!

A teaser poster for GI Joe Retaliation has appeared online!

Nothing new, it just features the official logo and release date for the movie. But if a teaser poster is done, hopefully soon we will see character posters and the official poster with the entire cast including Joe!

A brief synopsis has also been added: The G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

Joe to star in new A & E miniseries called "Coma"

I've just seen on Joe's IMDB page that he will star in a miniseries on A & E titled "Coma." It has a release date of May 28th, 2012. It is a 4 hour miniseries based on the Robin Cook novel.

The small synopsis on IMDB page for Coma reads:
A doctor begins to suspect that something is amiss when healthy patients begin to fall into comas.


Sounds pretty interesting to me! Hopefully soon there will be more information on Joe's character, and maybe even some set pictures!

Entertainment Tonight to show preview of GI Joe 2 trailer on Monday!

It seems that on Monday, we will get a preview of the GI Joe 2 trailer on Entertainment Tonight!

Thanks to Shogi over at Hisstank.com, we've learned that they will show a preview of the trailer on Monday's show. It will most likely be a few flashes of some scenes with voice overs from ET talking about the movie. But still, we will get to see NEW footage! This show will air about an hour before the full trailer is released online the same day.

If Joe is in the preview, there will be pictures and video right here after it airs!

Release date revealed for GI Joe 2 Retaliation trailer!

The Official GI Joe movie Facebook page revealed today that the trailer for GI Joe 2 will be shown exclusively on their page on Tuesday December 13th at 12:30am! Since it is a UK page, that time is most likely in GMT.

For those in the US, the trailer will be shown on Monday December 12th, at 7:30pm EST (4:30 PST.)

The trailer has a run time of 2 minutes and 25 seconds. Be sure to "Like" the GI JOE MOVIE PAGE on Facebook, so that you don't miss any updates!

Hopefully, we'll finally get a good look at Joe as Mouse in the movie! I'm so excited for official footage!

Round up on of all Joe's most recent projects

Since news has been a bit slow, I thought I would put together this quick summary of what is going on with Joe's most recent movies:

GI Joe 2: Retaliation
Filming is complete and the movie is in Post-Production. Within a few months the first trailer should be released, along with posters and film stills. It will be in theaters on June 29th, 2012.

First Kiss
This short film has been shown at select film festivals and should be released online by the end of this year or early next year. The film is 4 minutes long and co-stars Brenda Song who also appeared with Joe in The Social Network.

Allison
Joe makes a small appearance in this short film, which is by the same director of First Kiss. This short is also 4 minutes long and should be released online simultaneously with First Kiss either by the end of this year or early next year.

Georgetown
Only a pilot episode was filmed, but it wasn't picked up by the ABC network. It has not aired on TV and there is no current release date. The listing on IMDB changed from "Pilot" to "TV Movie", so there is a small chance ABC might air it, but it is unlikely. No official pictures, posters or videos have been released from the show.

GI Joe 2: Retaliation will be rated PG-13. Plus NEW trailer update!

Here is another small update on GI Joe 2: Retaliation! The guys over at Hisstank, as well as director Jon M. Chu have shared that the film will have a PG-13 rating. Hisstank also mentioned that the first trailer will be 2 minutes and 25 seconds long, and will be PG. Jon M. Chu stated that the trailer is rated PG so that it can be shown in front of movies with general audiences. I'm sure it will be incredible even with only PG footage in the trailer.

There have been rumors of the trailer making it's debut at several different times including in front of Mission Impossible 3, which is scheduled to be released on December 21st, 2011. I have also heard that it will be shown during the Super Bowl on February 5th, 2012. There hasn't been any official news of a specific date confirmed, but once there is, I'll be sure to let everyone know!

Mazzello to Spielberg "Let me know when you’re doing Jurassic Park 4, ok?"

As reported back in October, Joe wants to be in Jurassic Park 4. In this article from Movie Hole, there is a small mention of Joe discussing his interest in Jurassic Park 4. The director of Jurassic Park 3, Joe Johnston also mentions the 4th Jurassic Park movie:

“It’s nothing like the first three. It sort of takes the franchise off in a completely different direction, which is the only way I would want to get involved.”


Jack Horner, who is a scientist and is currently working on the science side of the 4th movie, has said this about recent discoveries about dinosaurs since the first movie was made:

“We’ve learned that dinosaurs were colourful, we’ve learned that dinosaurs were feathered. We’ve learned a lot about dinosaur behaviours, we’ve learned there’s a difference in how juveniles look and adults look… Jurassic Park 4 will look very different than Jurassic Park 3."


It's certainly exciting to be hearing more news regarding Jurassic Park 4! It would be amazing to have Joe Mazzello back as Tim Murphy.

GI Joe: Retaliation trailer news!

According to Channing Tatum Unwrapped, the trailer for GI Joe: Retaliation will premiere during the Super Bowl on February 5th, 2012! It will most likely be the teaser trailer for the movie since it is the first trailer from the movie that is being released.

Hopefully Joe will be in the trailer as well! If he is, there will be video and screen caps here on the day the trailer is out!

GI Joe: Retaliation is now officially listed as being in Post-Production on IMDB.com.

Now that the film is in Post-Production, this means that soon there will be a teaser trailer!

The movie will be released on June 29th, 2012.

There's been news around Twitter of wrap party for GI Joe tonight. This means filming is just about complete!
Once the movie is in post-production, there should be a teaser trailer and official film stills within a few months.

IMDB has also added a synopsis on the page for GI Joe. It reads:

The G.I. Joe team faces off against Zartan, his accomplices, and the world leaders he has under his influence.

The movie will be released on June 29th, 2012.

New interview with Joe!

I've found a new Dutch interview with Joe. He talks about what it was like meeting Steven Spielberg for the first time, auditioning for The Social Network, and filming GI Joe 2.

Joseph Mazzello is a twenty-eight year old actor who has a resume that most peers would envy. He played one of the children in Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park and worked together again with the man when he performed the leading roles in the mega production The Pacific . Following the publication of the Jurassic Park trilogy on Blu-ray, we talked with Mazzello about working with Spielberg, a rowboat share with Meryl Streep and his upcoming role in GI Joe 2: Retaliation.

Exclusive First Look at GI Joe 2 Retaliation on "Entertainment Tonight" Tuesday November 1st.

Jon M Chu, director of GI Joe 2, tweeted that tomorrow night (November 1st), there will be an exclusive first look at GI Joe 2 on Entertainment Tonight! There is a small preview of it on Entertainment Tonight's website at the end of yesterday's show. It shows The Rock showing ET around the set. Hopefully Joe will be in the video as well. Joe attended a Halloween Party hosted by Glee's Matthew Morrison, and was dressed as....a Justin Bieber fan! His costume was complete with a Justin Bieber hat, stickers, shirt, vest, doll, pants, and a backpack. Brilliant!

So, Jurassic Park 4… There are rumblings and rumours. Have you been contacted, and would you be interested?

I know they are writing it and it’s been developed right now. The last time I saw Steven was at the Emmys and I put the bug in his ear, I have no shame in that! I said, ‘Hey, let me know when you’re doing Jurassic Park 4, ok?’ If it came around and I was a part of it that would be an absolute thrill. I think it would be a great idea to have Tim grown up and see how that would affect things. We’ll see, you never know. If it happens it’ll be the greatest thrill of my life.

It would be AMAZING to see Joe back as adult Tim in the fourth movie. Steven Spielberg has mentioned that a script is in the process of being written and the movie will be out in a couple years or so.

GI Joe 2: Retaliation is half way through production!

Director of GI Joe 2, Jon M. Chu tweeted earlier today that this morning they were officially half way through production! Hopefully, in the coming weeks we will start to see some official pictures. The movie is scheduled to be released on June 29th, 2012.

More info on Joe's character Peter Brooks in the tv pilot "Georgetown"

Earlier this year, Joe filmed a pilot episode for a tv show called "Georgetown." The pilot was never picked up by the ABC network. There is no official release date for the pilot to air. It is listed on IMDB.com as a TV Movie, so perhaps ABC might air it the fall. I will keep everyone updated on any news of a release date.

For now though, I've found a small review of the script and Joe's character, Peter Brooks is briefly mentioned:

There's Peter Brooks, who works for White House Chief of Staff Vincent Feig. He's a smart, timid fellow with a crush on Andrew's assistant, Harper. Vincent promotes him to the head of a team of analysts and Peter is unprepared to lead. He also accidentally hires Harper as his assistant when he thinks he's asking her out on a date. One of his team members, Stacy, is clearly gunning for his job.

I really hope ABC decides to show this. I would love to see Joe in this show!
